Hi! My name is Aaya, I'm 14 years old and I'm an assistant coach at Koala Gymnastics. I am a rhythmic gymnast competing at level four and have been participating in rhythmic gymnastics since 2018. I started ballet when I was five years old and continued until i was about eight and a half and then started gymnastics at Koala when I was nine. I love going to gymnastics and I'm always happy when I'm at the gym. I hope as a beginner coach I'll be able to pass on the passion I have for gymnastics to everyone I teach in the future. Although I sometimes find it intimidating, I love competing in gymnastics competitions throughout the year especially group performances like Fusion and Multiples as well as performing in end of year shows.

I’ve been at koala for the past 11 years and have loved it since the very first day that I started. I enjoy being around people who love the same sport that I do.
I am keen to keep growing my skills and to help younger gymnasts get better at things they love to do the same way that I do.
